Golden Pines! Rustic yet fine dining in a casual relaxed atmosphere. Construction of the building was started in 1931 and the full log structure was completed around 1935 and became a popular Roadhouse. In the 1950's it was purchased and named Indian Lodge. In 1983 the business was sold and remained open for another 8 years. After lying dormant and in disarray for four years, Chuck and Sharon purchased the building in 1995. Since then the building has been painstakingly and lovingly brought back to its original splendor. The main dining room soars to a height of 32 feet at it's center and we sincerely feel it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the area. Utilizing today's technologies the building was upgraded to allow it to be open as a year-round business.

The unique factor of Golden Pines is not just the building but also in the prepartion of the food it serves. All of the soups, sauces and salad dressings are made from scratch and fresh daily. The Chicken Cordon Blue and Chicken Kiev are handmade and breaded to order, as is our Schnitzel's, Chicken, and Veal Oscars, Shrimp and Scallops. Our menu is extensive and offers a wide variety of choices, from gourmet entrees to Lite Foods, Vegetarian selections and meals for children, health conscious people and seniors who have lighter appetites are also featured.
